HP ink/toner cartridge X or A?

I have to order supplies for my company's printers (all HP) and i've noticed that they always have the same ink/toner such as 13A or 13X, is the only difference the amount of pages it yields? The X seems to give out more paper for a few dollars more? Is this the only difference?HP ink/toner cartridge X or A?
The X versions usually offer anywhere from a 25% to 2 times the number of pages compared to the A version.

This in turn makes a lower cost per page for the customer. The 2 reasons they offer the A versions is 1. Most people won't pay more to save more 2. Some printers will only take the A cartridge.

If you can get the X version each time.HP ink/toner cartridge X or A?
Yes, X cartridges is high yield, which can print more pages(about 30%) than A cartridges.
Yep, X is High Yield, A is Standard Yield.
